Traverse City, August 28, 2013 – Kathryn R. Holmstrom-Baker has joined the staff of Digestive Health Associates of Northern Michigan (DHA) as a physician assistant. Kathy was most recently a bariatric and general surgery physician assistant with the Michigan Bariatric Institute at St. Mary Hospital in Livonia.
Before that, she worked as a family practice physician assistant for five years at a primary care center. Kathy began her career as a firefighter and paramedic and was a member of the Oakland County Crisis Response team.
Kathy earned her Master of Science degree from the University of Detroit Mercy.
