Dr. Jeffrey Goldman Joins Traverse City Gastroenterology Practice
Traverse City, December 1, 2009 – Jeffrey H. Goldman, M.D. has joined the staff at the Traverse City office of Digestive Health Associates of Northern Michigan (DHA). He will be practicing out of DHA’s office in Copper Ridge, with privileges at Munson Hospital, and will be accepting new patients immediately. Dr. Goldman earned his BA from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois and his medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. He is board certified in gastroenterology and is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.
Dr. Goldman worked in clinical research and private practice for 15 years in New York and Chicago area before coming to Traverse City. He has special interest in colonoscopy and colon cancer prevention, reflux disease, irritable bowel, biliary endoscopy (ERCP) and liver disease. He believes that preventive healthcare practices, as well as public knowledge and awareness of the nature of digestive and liver disorders, are of critical importance, adding, "I am most excited to join the wonderful medical community that exists in Traverse City. I look forward to serving the community to the best of my ability."
