Local Physician Inducted as American Gastroenterological Association Fellow

Dr. Rex Antinozzi Recognized for Superior Professional Achievement

Traverse City, MI, April 23, 2007 – Dr. Rex Antinozzi, a board certified gastroenterologist and president of Digestive Health Associates of Northern Michigan, was recently inducted as an American Gastroenterological Association Fellow (AGAF). This honor is bestowed by the AGA for superior professional achievement in the field of gastroenterology. Fellowship is granted on the basis of the candidate having met a strict set of criteria of excellence recognized by their peers and their community.

Dr. Antinozzi is a graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA and Thomas Jefferson University Medical School in Philadelphia, PA. He received further training at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC and completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Michigan Medical Center. He has been practicing in Traverse City since 1987.
