Traverse City, September 8, 2014 – Shannon Moeggenborg has joined Digestive Health Associates of Northern Michigan (DHA) as a nurse practitioner. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Moeggenborg already had more than 17 years of healthcare experience as a registered nurse and as a paramedic.
Prior to joining Digestive Health, Moeggenborg worked in the emergency department and in the Critical Care Open Heart unit at Munson Medical Center as a registered nurse. Before that, she was a paramedic with North Flight Emergency Medical Services of Munson. She was also a clinical nursing instructor for Northwestern Michigan College.
Moeggenborg received both her bachelor’s and master’s of science from Graceland University of Independence, Missouri.
