Traverse City, January 5, 2010 – Kelly Monroe, CMA, is celebrating her five-year anniversary as a certified medical assistant with Digestive Health Associates of Northern Michigan (DHA). A former patient at DHA, Monroe’s career path was inspired by the attentive care and treatment she received from the staff and doctors there. She is a graduate of Baker College with an associate’s degree in applied science with a concentration in medical assisting. At DHA, she is responsible for taking vital statistics, scheduling necessary tests and assisting doctors. "My aim is to provide patients with the same quality of care that I received as a patient all those years ago," says Monroe.
